Leaflad Privacy Statement

We take your privacy very seriously and will process and use information about you in a safe manner. In order to safeguard your privacy, we will always act in accordance with the Dutch Data Protection Act. This page details our Privacy Statement. We recommend that you carefully read this Privacy Statement.

1. What is Leaflad?
Leaflad is an online service that offers you the opportunity to generate an account which provides you access to Leaflad. Within Leaflad you will see advertisements on various products and services published by advertisers. Based on the interests you document in your account we will try to provide you with advertisements that suit your interests.

As your data is worth money, we consider it no more than normal that we share our proceeds with you and the other users of Leaflad. That is why we periodically assess our advertisement income (no more than once a month) and calculate on the basis of various criteria whether and if so, how many credits are added to your account. When you have sufficient credits AND have purchased something from our advertisers you can submit a cashback request to pay the credits (or a part thereof) into your bank account.

Leaflad forms part of the private limited liability company Leaflad B.V., registered with the Chamber of Commerce with number 59282398. The method of saving and using your personal data are registered with the Dutch Data Protection Authority under number 1634528.

2. Which user data is collected and processed by Leaflad?
Account
In order to use Leaflad, you need to generate an account in which you will at least document your email address and name. Providing your location, gender, date of birth or marital status is optional. You must also document at least one interest so we have some idea of what you like. Your interests and other data in your profile can be used by advertisers to publish their advertisements to a specific target group. However, we wish to emphasise that an advertiser is never provided an insight into a personal profile.

Adding advertisements to your wish list
If you see an interesting or enjoyable advertisement during your use of Leaflad, you can add it to your wish list by marking it as a favourite. You can always remove any advertisement from your wish list. Advertisers cannot see who has added which advertisements to his/her wish list.

Blocking Advertiser
Although Leaflad continues to optimise the advertisements to suit your interests, it is possible that you may not consider advertisements of an advertiser interesting (anymore). You can simply block this advertiser by adding them to your ‘black list’, after which you will not see not see content of this advertiser again. Until you remove them from your ‘black list’ of course.

Payment details
The moment you make a cashback request, we will ask for your full name, city and bank details. We need this information so that we can swiftly and correctly perform your request after it has been approved. We will never use your bank details for any other purpose than for the transfer of the amount from your cashback request.
